In three questions: Julius Wiedemann
Why do you do what you do?
I was always fascinated with the process through which people can understand things better. Visual stories are a great way to do it. I always thought about myself between an artist and a writer. So, I think I got in that middle.
What makes you happiest about your job?
It is definitely the fact that every new book is a different beast, and I have to learn overtime a new subject, and new experts that will teach me new things. It forces me to stay intellectually active.
What is your goal when you do a project?
My goal when I do a project is always to reach out to people beyond the immediate audience. Is to make a project that will attract unexpected readers.
